Image Alex Mellers joins the MoveR Hub The Mover hub welcomes the newest addition to its dynamic team, as Alex Mellers, a seasoned Engineer and Researcher, has joined as a Research Assistant in December 2023. Alex brings a wealth of experience from his impressive background in the Medical and Renewable Energy sectors. Notably, during his tenure with MedEngine, Alex spearheaded initiatives aimed at enhancing Parkinson's care and chronic care through the integration of technology-enabled objective measurements. His innovative mindset and dedication to advancing healthcare solutions have resulted in the development of groundbreaking medical products, as well as mobile and web applications. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Energy Resilience at University College London (UCL), Alex holds an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University. His academic journey underscores a commitment to interdisciplinary research and a passion for addressing challenges at the intersection of engineering and sustainability.
